Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men...

The daily life of an Old Catholic priest is both the same as your life is now, yet it is also different.

It is the same as most of the Old Catholic Priests are "worker priests," which are priests who hold down full time jobs, just like you do now.

The difference comes from inside you! The inner peace a priest experiences makes your daily life different. Different in the way you approach life's daily tasks, trials, and triumphs. Different in the way you talk to and deal with people.

That inner difference comes through in everything you say, do and touch - and people notice!

"People just KNOW  you are a priest - they approach you in the most unlikely places - the grocery store, the bank, in the park... that inner gift of the priesthood is apparent to people- especially to those who are in crisis and need to find Jesus Christ.

-Fr. Mike

You will help people and bring them to Christ when you least expect it - it is about presence. People just can sense your a priest.

- Fr. Steve

The Average day of an Old Catholic Priest:
  • Morning Prayer;
  • Make breakfast;
  • Say goodbye to the spouse and kids;
  • Work;
  • Give a co-worker advice;
  • Mid day Prayer;
  • Lunch;
  • Compliment a co-worker;
  • Go home;
  • Dinner;
  • Evening Prayer & Mass at home;
  • help the kids with homework;
  • Tell  your spouse how much they mean to you.

Sounds pretty much like your daily life now, doesn't it?

Being a Catholic Priest enhances your everyday experiences!

Old Catholic Priests minister in parishes and prisons; nursing homes and fire houses.

Wherever Christ  is needed, an Old Catholic priest can be the presence of Christ!
